A Wrigley Field beer vendor recovering from a massive heart attack shared a special bond with his cardiologist, who was also a beer vendor at Wrigley.

Eddie Rajczyk, a 58-year-old beer vendor at Wrigley Field, collapsed from a massive heart attack and woke up days later at NorthShore Evanston Hospital surrounded by caregivers. Among them was his cardiologist, with whom he’d go on to share a special bond. Dr. Robert Gordon had also been a beer vendor at Wrigley as he worked his way through school, and understood as well as anyone what it would take to get Eddie back to the ballpark.
