How do you like them apples? A new study indicates apple eaters may be less likely to require prescription medications.

Scientists tracked the nutritional habits of 8,399 individuals to compare the data of those who ate an apple a day to those who didn't eat apples. Nine percent of participants consumed an apple a day, and they were slightly less likely to be on medications than non-apple eaters.
