Dr. Akilah Weber, MD began her political career as a City Councilmember in La Mesa, California and, since 2021, she has represented California’s 79th district in the state assembly. Dr. Weber completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Chicago Cook County Hospital and her fellowship in Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She lives in La Mesa, California with her two boys.
