Since nearly no one wants to talk about zucchini during the holiday season, I have decided to post a repeat episode from last holiday season. This episode has no nutritional value whatsoever... So we can all relax.
This story is about my trip to the New York City medical center (NYU) to be screened for a possible new treatment for my specific neuromuscular disease. At the time I had just been diagnosed with a specific type of myopathy under the muscular dystrophy umbrella, called Hereditary Inclusion Body Myopathy.
I mentioned a few songs in this episode that pertain to New York City. The 1st is simply called "New York" and was sung by gene Kelly in the movie on the town. The 2nd song was called "the 59th St. Bridge song". It was sung by Simon and Garfunkel.
I would love to keep these episodes free of advertisements and would greatly appreciate it if you could donate $1 or $2 on my patreon page. You can find my patreon page here.
As always, I appreciate your feedback! You can offer questions or comments on my website contact page.
