I'd hoped the Drake Hotel in Chicago would have ghosts. Instead, I was haunted by the unsolved true crime murder of Adele Born Williams and her killer, the Woman in Black.

The murder of Ms. Williams was sensational back in its day, but it eventually faded from memory. It remains unsolved to this day.

However, it's not the Drake's only tie to a sensational true crime. It also has an intimate connection with the Leopold and Loeb case, which I also briefly talk about in this episode.
