iHunter is a must-have tool for any type of hunter in Alberta. The app has continued to develop more resources (maps, weather, waypoints and more) and technological advances for hunters and even outdoor lovers too, with its growing downloads speaking to its success over the last decade. And now, it has evolved to offer users a chance to do even more: helping biologists collect essential population data for wildlife species. We talk to two biologists from Alberta Conservation Association as well as the man behind the app to learn about the need, the logistics, the security, and bust some myths too - so you can decide for yourself if you want to contribute to conservation's future.
