"They offered me 35 years for my drug charges. I didn’t take the plea and I have no idea what will happen."
Ronnie went from prisoner to social worker. He spoke at schools, worked with inmates, and preached at the local jail.
But in 2016 the threat of losing his children through divorce took him back out.
"I ended up getting raided by law enforcement in September 2021. At that time, I had no desire to stop using. I was mad at God. Very upset, bitter, and carrying lots of resentment. One of the requirements with my bond, the Judge had me get into a drug program. It was in AA meetings, working the steps, hearing stories of addiction, my heart started to be softened."
