We interview Matt and Dan from The League of Nonsensical Gamers! The League of Nonsensical Gamers have dedicated themselves to producing quality media content about the world of board games.

The League’s website has had an impressive amount of early success and the group’s approach to reviews and producing podcasts is well informed and entertaining. The board game industry is small and it’s a western out there in terms of finding a source for product reviews that are both unbiased and have no incentive to be biased. It’s kind of fun to compare and contrast the board game review space to the early video game review space. (we tried to do a tiny bit of that in the interview).

After talking to Matt and Dan for the podcast, it’s clear The League of Nonsensical Gamers are self aware of what their audience’s concerns may be and doing an incredible job. It’s great to have people like them around because creating websites like The League of Nonsensical Gamers goes a long way at promoting and legitimizing our board game industry. We hope you enjoy!

Season 3 Shout Outs

This episode of the podcast contains a shout out to board game designer Matt Riddle. Matt happens to be one half of the legendary board game duo of Matt Riddle and Ben Pinchback, who are responsible for games like“Fleet, Floating Market, and the newer, “Morocco.” Thanks Matt!
