Jeff, Lee, and Kyle interview Jamey Stegmaier, president of Stonemaier Games and designer of recent Kickstarter mega hit, “Scythe.”

We were excited to interview Jamey for a second time on our podcast. At the time of this interview, Jamey was in the middle of running Scythe, which raised an impressive one point eight million dollars on Kickstarter. Trying to understand what running a mega project would be like is certainly enough to fit an episode, but that wasn’t all we wanted to know.

If you are familiar with Jamey, you would know that he is incredibly prompt and responsive to fans on social media, and his website’s comment section. He also regularly writes posts for his personal blog and business blog, all while running a thriving company. How in the heck does Jamey do it all? You would think that such a life could be emotionally draining, so we were curious to hear what a day in Jamey’s life looks like and get perspective on why he does what he does.
