To help us better understand what this means, Hamden Library staff member Ariana Davis takes the reins, guiding us through the ins and outs of what diabetes is and how it affects the lives of tens of millions of Americans. She also interviews Dr. Helen Anaedo, a board-certified endocrinologist with Hartford HealthCare, to help dispel some of the myths and misconceptions about this chronic condition.
