Zoe Lyons, Bald ambition ~ Living with alopecia in the public eye.
Zoe Lyons first experienced alopecia areata at age 10.
She would find patches and it would come and go, flaring up at times over a period of 20 years.
Two years ago, she went through a very stressful time, full of upheaval, plus the stress of the pandemic, and her hair loss grew worse. She describes this as a physical manifestation of a lot of mental turmoil.
Zoe shares her story and talks honestly about being in the public eye with alopecia and what it's like to be a stand-up comedian and TV presenter living with hair loss.
She recently completed over 50k to raise money for Alopecia UK,
