Paul McGregor is a speaker, business owner, podcaster and writer who cares deeply about mental health.

Paul's Dad Neil took his own life when he was just 18 and in Paul's book Man Up Man Down he unveils the impact it had on him, how he rebuilt his life in the aftermath and the journey he has been on in making sense of life, death and his own mind.

This very relatable episode lifts the veil on how young men find coping strategies to deal with loss and trauma and how those very strategies are what can keep us trapped in our own minds. Paul and I delve into the steps he took to break this chain by finding what worked for him, his realisation that manning up wasn't always what he needed and how self awareness and compassion can be a step in the right direction.
