This episode of the Grim Drive Podcast, where we explore mental health through the lens of professional sports and athletes, takes a look at Simone Biles + Mental Fitness.

There are few athletes who excel to such a high level at their craft, that fans can remember years and sometimes decades after, where they were when they watched that athlete perform.  Simone Biles has dominated at the highest levels within the world of gymnastics, including at the Olympic level, where she is the most decorated gymnast, female or male, in US history.

In addition to her dominance from the perspective of physical fitness, Simone Biles is also a huge proponent of mental fitness.  She has been very vocal about her experience in therapy, as well as other helpful strategies for proactively achieving mental fitness.  Co-hosts of The Grim Drive Podcast, Jotham Busfield, LICSW, and Jon Cunha, LMHC, also discuss their top 10 personal strategies for maintaining mental fitness.
