Intro

Episode 6, Tirisfal Trouble.

Hi everybody! Thanks to modern technology, I’m able to join you and Mud from South America this episode.

I’m at home holding down the fort and taking care of our menagerie.

Let’s get started. Regarding current achievements in Shadowlands, if you’ve been keeping up with the renown campaign, you will have earned the achievement Champion of the Covenant: Renown level 40 as well as a new title based on your covenant.

Last episode we asked which zone we should go to and in the final hours of the poll, the boney bois won out by a single vote!

That’s right: this episode is going to be all about Tirisfal Glades.

Main Zone: Deathknell

Let’s start with our first zone: Deathknell. Deathknell is the starting zone for the Forsaken.

Rotbrains are the forsaken that are unintelligent. The humane and safe thing is to put them down.

While you are questing, you can see the undead being raised by the Valkyr

Zone: Tirisfal Glades (past)

Which you can get to by talking to Zidormi. The current zone has a blighted scar from the Battle of Lorderon, which was part of the Battle for Azeroth pre-launch event.

Later in Tirisfal Glades questing, Lilian Voss' father (he is a member of the scarlet crusade) orders her killed after she is captured and caged. She uses her skills to escape before she can be executed.

Zone: Next we enter Undercity Achievements

Fish or Cut Bait: Undercity - you will need to complete these daily fishing quests: Fish Head, Like Pike?, Moat Monster!, Tadpole Terror, and Time for Slime

Let's Do Lunch: Undercity - the required daily cooking quests are: Fungus Among Us, Escargot A Go-Go, Would You Like Some Flies With That?, Lily Oh Lily, and Roach Coach

Scarlet Halls - Defeat Flameweaver Koegler in Scarlet Halls

Heroic: Scarlet Halls - Defeat Flameweaver Koegler in Scarlet Halls on Heroic Difficulty

Mosh Pit - Get a combination of 8 players and Scarlet Defenders caught up in Armsmaster Harlan's Blades of Light simultaneously and then defeat Armsmaster Harlan in Scarlet Halls on Heroic Difficulty. You'll have to pull the boss and get him down to 20% health first for this to work.

Dungeon: Scarlet Monastery

Scarlet Monastery (10 pts) - Defeat the final boss of this dungeon, High Inquisitor Whitemane

Extras

Make sure that you go to the right corridor in the Crusader's Chapel. Look for a torch that acts as a switch to open a secret room. Inside the room is High Inquisitor Fairbanks and he is dead. He is still up in Classic in the Cathedral Wing, and was the predecessor of High Inquisitor Whitemane.

2021/03/16 - 2021/03/23

Participating in this event will buff you with the Sign of the Battle, which will increase Honor earned by 50% when you complete random Battlegrounds. If you win 4 Battlegrounds, you will complete A Call to Battle which rewards you with a box of PvP gear.

In case you aren’t familiar with Battlegrounds, here’s what you need to know:

Battlegrounds are essentially large scale PvP. You can join by queuing up by yourself, or with up to 5 of your friends and guildies in a party.

You only need to be level 10 to start doing Battlegrounds, and every 10 levels there is a new bracket.

Unlike Rated Battlegrounds, wins and losses in this event will not affect your PvP rating in regular Battlegrounds.

PvP Brawl: Southshore vs. Tarren Mill

2021/03/16 - 2021/03/23

A PvP Brawl is exactly like it sounds. It is a 40 v 40 player brawl to the death. The team that reaches 150 opposing player kills first, wins.

You have three ways to play: take the fight to the other players in their town, brawl on the road, or defend your own territory.

Remember, by staying alive and killing your opponents, you do more damage and healing. You rank up 1 level and gain 1% more damage and healing for every 10 kills, but if you die, you lose the buff and are demoted to Recruit.

Yes, this Battleground is a 40 vs 40 match, but you may find that you are brawling with a team with significantly more or fewer players. If this happens to you, may the odds be ever in your favor!

Un'Goro Madness - Micro holiday

2021/03/17 - 2021/03/20

Madness is abound in Un'Goro Crater! Bosses are spawning everywhere and every boss killed drops Dino Mojo for the participants.

When you use the Dino Mojo, you get the Adaptation Buff which gives you one of the following auras:

Bone Carapace: Damage taken is reduced by 3% (I think)

Lightning Speed: Movement speed increased by 3%

Massive: Size increased by 4%

Sharp Claws: Damage increased by 3%

Every consecutive use of the Mojo adds a stack to the buff, adding or increasing one of the auras, up to 5 stacks for every aura.

After 20 Stacks, every new Mojo adds a stack of:

Awesome: Awesomeness increased by 10% (This aura has no max stack)

The buffs persists through death and stays for the whole event time (up to 3 days), but is disabled in PvP and Instances.

Shadowlands Dungeon Event 2021/03/23 - 2021/03/30

Make sure you pick up the quest either in the Adventure Journal or in the bank by the loot vault. It’s worth the trouble.

The final boss of each Shadowlands dungeon awards an extra item when defeated. Loot for Shadowlands during Season 1 starts at levels 158 for Normal, 171 for Heroic, and 184 for Mythic.
