On this week's episode of Grand Slam KBO, Andrew Farrell, Matthew Care and Bradley Hider take time out from baseball to talk about some of the best hiking and cycling trails in Korea, after Matthew destroyed his body during a Sunday stroll down a hill. Bradley recalls his favorite bike paths and how he met people from MyKBO because of his biking travels. There's ice fishing, seedy Gwangju motels and the best time to drink makoli.

We also introduce the first edition of Grand Slam KBO Hall of Shame. Get voting on the Hall of Shame special using the hashtag #KBOHoS The nominations: Bradley opens with a passionate rant about his hatred of the Gocheok Sky Dome, home of Kiwoom Heroes. He lists the top 3 reasons why he dislikes the Dome and, given he was so unsuccessful in every Hall of Fame nomination, this would be a good time to get his first win. Matthew follows that with a rant of his own, this time on the ridiculous KBO play-off schedule which sees 4th v 5th in a 1 or 2 game Wild Card, with the winners advancing to play the 3rd placed team, then the 2nd placed team and finally the pennant winners, who have usually gone 3 weeks without baseball. Andrew has a dislike for 0 outs 1 on bunting that is a feature of every post-season game in Korea. Managers relying too heavily on the bunt which rarely seems to be effective.

Our music is with immense thanks to the amazing Cicada State, a band we got to know well here in Seoul. The intro is 'Cuttysark.' We'll be playing more of their work throughout the 2020 season. Check them out! Check out our new midweek show,
