When we picture someone grieving a lot of us see deep sadness, despair, and crying. Those are common signs for grievers, but they are not the only signs and emotions that people feel. In fact, you might see someone actually smiling. But don't let that make you think that person is ok or they are not grieving.
Grief is as individual as each and everyone of us. And not all grieving people are necessarily mourning the death of someone they love and care about.
That's what Sherrie Dunlevy is talking about in this episode of the Grief Anonymous Podcast.
