To seek perfection is good, but we have to accept the fact that there are limitations to being human.  People who seek to be perfect usually come from a place of FEAR of judgment and disapproval from others. Perfectionism can impact many areas of a person’s life and it can affect someone in the workplace, at home, in relationships, in careers, etc.  As perfectionism is self-imposed, you are the only one who can play a major role in recovering from its negative effects. The first and most important step is to render self-compassion to yourself.

In this episode of Grace, Grit, and Glow, you will learn:

What is perfectionism and why do some people seek to be a perfectionist?
What are the traits of a perfectionist and what happens to them when their unrealistic goals aren’t met?
How can someone counter the harmful effects of perfectionism?
What is the difference between OCD and Perfectionism?
