"It takes a village to raise a child".

Chances are if you're a mom, you have lots of thoughts on this topic...especially in this age of social distancing and digital communities...

"What if I don't have a village?"

"How do I find my village?"

"How do I create a supportive village that helps me to be the person I want to be?"

"Why does her village seem so much better than mine?"

At one point or another, I've thought all these things. Maybe you have too.

In this episode, I continue the conversation about identity in motherhood and talk about how support systems, or lack of one, affect your identity.

I'm SO excited about the next several interview episodes this month too. They all relate to important aspects of your support system as a mom.

And they are full of motivating, encouraging, and super practical content for improving your friendships and growing or simply nurturing your current community. SO GOOD!

In this episode talk about:

Lies and misconceptions we believe about villages and community as a mom How a supportive community helped me and where I found that community that I craved Understanding how your village changes in different seasons How community affects and shapes your identity as a mom
