Such an informative conversation about HIV, the myths and misconceptions about the illness! There are still so many questions the general public has about having HIV and the transmission of HIV. Jose Giocamea, Director of Community Relations for Aid Upstate, answers all our questions very openly to help us all understand more about this disease that is at times still an elephant in the room.

Aid Upstate supports our communities with prevention, treating, testing, mental heath support and so many other ways to create health and education in our area. They also have a resale shop, Red Ribbon Resale where they receive donations of clothes, household items, and furniture. The items in the shop are donated to HIV clients in need, and all of the proceeds go to Aid Upstate. Please, please consider donating to the store as you do your home and closet organization!!

December 1st is a World Aids Day, a celebration of those passed on and all of the support of the medical and personal care givers. Please remember and consider opening your minds, hearts and pockets, this holiday season to this amazing charity who has served our community for 30 years! Be safe and get tested!! We love you and want everyone healthy!
