Entrepreneurial business favors the open mind. It favors people whose optimism drive them to prepare for many possible futures, pretty much purely for the joy of doing so.

Richard Branson is an entrepreneur with an open mind. His Virgin Group has started many different types of entrepreneurial businesses. His never ending optimism when he starts one of these entrepreneurial businesses keeps him going, even when things get tough. I think his point in this quote is that to really enjoy being an entrepreneur you have to really love what you do so much that you would do it whether you get paid for it or not. If you had to do it would would get so much joy out of it that you would do it just for that joy. Have you ever done something that you loved doing so much that it took up every waking thought and probably some sleeping ones as well? Those are the things you should do for you entrepreneurial business.
My daughters used to call me a work-aholic because I used to work long hours and often on weekends. I didn't own the business, but I was an officer and I take ownership in whatever I do. It was a startup company that we were growing and I loved what I was doing at the time. I loved the thought of using my skills, my passion to help build a new company. I knew we would make it great. It was pure joy. I did get paid well, but if I didn't have to worry about supporting a family, or paying bills, I likely would have done it just for fun.
To be entrepreneurial you have to be prepared as well. If you have optimism, you will prepare for the future, many futures. You will do what you need. That optimism as he says will drive you to prepare for all futures.
Go Out Today, Be Optimistically Open Minded in Your Entrepreneurial Endeavors & Enjoy It.
