Follow Your Passion. Be True To Yourself. Never follow anyone else's path, unless you're in the woods and lost and you see a path. Then by all means you should follow that.

Following your passion is something that Ellen has done. She is one of the most passionate people about what she does, about who she is. She is also passionate about inspiring others to do the same.

Being true to yourself is critical to happiness. If you aren't happy, the first place you should look is in the mirror. Are you, you, or someone else. Are you what you are passionate about. Are you being someone else? Unless you're a paid actor, you shouldn't be playing someone else.

Life is a journey, a path. In my martial arts training, I started my Musha Shugyo - the "Warrior Path".  The Warrior Path was the path to our enlightenment.  Being who we are to be, being us.  We should all walk our own path in life.  Walking YOUR path, following YOUR passion, Being true to YOURSELF will bring you to happiness and success.

And, by all means, if you are in the woods and lost and you see a path, Take It. But that leads to a different lesson for another episode.
