To be a great champion, you must believe you are the best. If you're not, pretend you are.

Muhammad Ali is The Champ. The greatest boxer of all time! "I am the Greatest". At least he always told himself and everyone else that. I don't think Ali had to pretend to be the best! I know that he believed he was. He was always very self assured.

Muhammad Ali would proudly tell you that he was "The Greatest"! His attitude and his bravado is legendary. But, not only did he believe he was "The Greatest", he usually proved it! His boxing record was outstanding. He was a very charismatic person, in the ring and out.

His head to heads with Howard Cossell were fantastic. He made it fun to watch boxing.

I like the phrase, Fake It 'Til You Make It. It is critical to do that in many areas. I think it is especially true in many areas of belief.

Any time someone asks me, "How are you?"  I always tell them, "Wonderful". Even if I am not, I will pretend that I am. I always plan to convince myself and my brain that I am Wonderful.

I you lack belief that you are the greatest in your field, pretend you are! Pretend to yourself that you are "The Greatest". You will be!
