“All disease begins in the gut.” – Is a quote attributed to the Ancient Greek physician Hippocrates. Well, Hippocrates wasn’t far off. Every time we eat or drink or expose ourselves to chemicals and hormones, we are either feeding disease or fighting it.

In Episode 35, I discuss gut health with guest and Go Hard Chick Amanda Meri. Amanda Meri, a.k.a. “The Gut Nurse”, is a registered nurse and health coach who, for years, had struggled with health issues and symptoms such as hair loss, brain fog, migraines, chronic fatigue syndrome, constipation, gastritis, mold illness, and mood swings.

Amanda decided to take matters into her own hands and found a way to heal her body naturally. Now, her mission is to women on what gut health is, how it connects to overall health, and how they can feel better.

In this Episode we discuss:

What gut health is and why you should be concerned about your gut
Why good gut health is important for health and well-being
Symptoms of an unhealthy gut
The relationship between the gut and the immune system

And much more!
