David Higbee is the Executive Director of Bridge Lacrosse, taking over the role in 2011 after becoming involved in the organization as a volunteer coach, and serving as a member of the Board of Directors. David is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma where he received a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and played midfielder for the Oklahoma club team. David moved to Dallas upon graduation and worked in the environmental industry. David has enjoyed developing lasting relationships in both the lacrosse and the nonprofit landscapes. In 2011, David was a recipient of the Positive Coaching Alliance's Double Goal Coach Award for North Texas, and in 2021 was a finalist for D CEO Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards for Leadership Excellence. Lastly, in spring 2021, David received a certificate in sports philanthropy from the George Washington University School of Business.
