Bevin Carpenter, known as the "Guru of Engagement," has facilitated workshops and programs for students, parents, communities and agencies for more than 15 years. "His philosophy is "Train up an individual and they will not depart from it." Bevin received his bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis and his MBA from Strayer University. He has served on several boards, including the Georgia State Superintendent Dropout Prevention Taskforce, Fulton County Community Restorative Board, Fulton/Atlanta School Justice Pathway and currently is a member of the 2018 Boys and Men of Color Executive Director Collaborative Circle Cohort. Bevin has been a presenter at several conferences. His article "Empowering Students to Be Change Agents," was published by Youth Today.
