Wooof this is SO easy to do but also SO easy not to do…this simple adjustment could bring you so much peace. Creating this boundary was very challenging at first because many of us are constantly glued to our devices.

Having the “rule” of putting your phone to bed (not in bed with you) but away maybe charging in the bathroom or kitchen rather than next to you as you fall asleep is a game changer.

When we fall asleep scrolling we not only mess with our sleep but our mind too. You have no idea what horrific news or sad update or toxic/negative garbage you might see right before you shut your eyes. Scrolling yourself to sleep puts you in a constant defense mode because we’re being bombarded with all sorts of content and have no idea what’s coming next.

Having pockets of time when you’re “unreachable” is key.

Maybe at dinner with a friend say let’s be present and truly together not texting others while we have this 1:1 time.
