This week on Getting Literate, Katie and Julia dissect the feminist/not-so-feminist world of the Handmaid's Tale. The gals chat about why dystopian novels need women, which class of women they'd be, and Margaret Atwood's public life. Julia tries to make haters out of people who wanted her to read this book, while Katie has the worst time eve. PLUS: don't read books for boys, Scrabble, and Catholic school. As always, there's definitely spoilers, so proceed with caution.
