I once made a crack that with more than 2/B phones sold no one would steal an iPhone. What the thieves are now after is your “life”. Locking you out of your Apple ID to charge stuff thru Apple/Pay — it’s your identity they steal. The TV commentator suggested replacing your four-digit passcode with a six-digit code.
Yes, that might help, but here’s a better idea. Engage fingerprint ID. Since no two of us have the same fingerprint, it’s much safer than a six-digit passcode. Also, you may choose your thumb or index finger — it’s all the same to your iPhone. It’s unique to iPhone and much safer.
