The Israel/Hamas war is looking more like a regional war with muslim countries wanting to drive the Israelis out of the Middle East. In basic terms, it's a Law of Nature: Survival of the Fittest. Iran's acquisition of nuclear bombs means it will attempt to end America's influence in the Middle East. And if oil reserves are running out in that part of the world, no American leader would be willing to sacrifice American military lives to defend a 78 year old policy of control and distribution of oil out of the Middle East. The Israeli people will have to defend themselves.
