Year End Fun: Future of Turntablism and DJing with DJ toMU:吐夢 (aka ShowNing)

In this 2020 year end special, I had an awesome chat with my friend and also the music producer of the Future Design Podcast, DJ toMU:吐夢 (aka ShowNing).

We explored the future of turntablism and DJing as technology has been changing how musicians are creating and recording music. Also the landscape of DJ has changed drastically since DJ toMu started DJing.

This episode is a special one for me as I was a turntablist when I was back in school, obviously not as good as DJ toMU. He went on to become the 1st runner up in DMC NY in 2005, which is the most prestigious DJ competition in the world and he's the only Japanese that made it that far.
