The first episode of 2021 is on redesigning social media that can incentivize better content sharing to reduce fake news and propaganda using reputation as an indicator. The relationship with the original content creator and who’s sharing is disconnected. There’s the reputation of the publisher and the sharer that needs to be set straight to understand the quality behind the information that is spread.
Jenna Pilgrim is the CEO of Streambed, a company that is building a social media content analytical tool for content creators on top of blockchain infrastructure.
