#036 Extera: Farming the Desert - Ole Kristian Sivertsen (CEO Desert Control)

In this episode, I have Ole Kristian Sivertsen, CEO of Desert Control. I found about him and his company from reading a CNN article and I immediately reached out to him.

They have invented “Liquid Nano Clay”, a liquified form of clay to be sprayed onto the desert so that farming can be done. It attaches to sand particles and retains water/nutrients and it has turned a small part of the Dubai desert green.
