Aundrea DeMille wants us to have uncomfortable conversations in order to get to a comfortable and honest place. In her book, Is It Racism? she asks all of us of various races, ethnicities, and sexual orientations to confront each of our own biases and prejudices. No one group has a monopoly on unconscious bias. We all have them and we all need to take an honest look at ourselves to see where our biases lie so we can confront and abolish them
