For most of us, being a daughter is second nature. But what if it wasn’t? Jan Krulick-Belin lost her father unexpectedly at the age of six and never really got to know who he was as a father or as a man. It took finding 100 letters he had written to her mother during World War II for her to get a glimpse of who he was.
In fact, the discovery of the letters was just the beginning of a journey that took five years and ended up in Morocco in Northern Africa. She learned about her father as well as her own personal heritage and history.
Jan’s is a fascinating story that test the bond of a father and daughter.
