What the energy crisis means for investments

The latest edition of the FTAdviser podcast examines the energy security dilemma.

There has been an accelerated push to transition to renewable energy since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, which has made the drive towards energy independence a priority for many governments. Soaring energy prices has also made the need to shift towards solar, wind and hydrogen power generation even more urgent.

However, at the moment not enough structures have being built to emit the energy needed to herald in that independence, which has led to more countries considering scaling up their nuclear power technologies.
