Who is CQ?

Born and raised in NYC, CQ joined the army right out of high school as an airborne infantry.
CQ was deployed to Iraq in 2003 and then to Afghanistan in 2005. That’s where he was critically wounded and shot 5 times. CQ spent the next two year recovering in the hospital and underwent over 40+ surgeries and even died twice.
CQ is medically retired in 2007. Since then he's been battling through the physical and mental wounds of war. He started doing standup comedy in 2017 and in 2020 launched my pop culture talk show/podcast “Pop Culture Warrior”.

In this episode CQ and Carden talk about:

CQ's time in Iraq and Afghanistan and now being medically retired
The journey he's faced as a disabled veteran entering "normal life"
What it means to be 'medically retired' and how he is classified
Organizations that provide support and services for disabled veterans
