In January 2020, I posted a link on Linkedin within our Anti-Fraud community asking the question if people supported receiving training from former (reformed) fraudsters or if they felt that helped further the fraudsters platform. The response was huge. Over 8400+ views in just a few days with a variety of comments. Though, I will say, it seemed that more were in favor of it than against it.

I get into several of the comments left by many of you, our listeners, and then offer my position.

I also mention a course that I created with convicted and reformed fraudster Nathan Mueller. It's unlike anything you have seen or would expect. It's a raw and real video monologue format where you feel like your in the interview room with Nathan as he describes every aspect of his story, from childhood, to college, his first job and how he stole his first $1100. He speaks about prison, post-sentencing and offers what I believe to be valuable insights for fraud investigators, auditors, law enforcement and all learners of anti-fraud.
