Our MEN IN BLACK mini-series concludes with the reboot/legacy sequel, 2019’s Men in Black: International.

With the story of Agents J & K in the rearview, producers and Sony studio execs were hungry for the franchise to continue with a fresh take on the material. But after a potential franchise crossover resulted in a creative dead end, they decided on a different kind of crossover: an espionage reboot featuring the MCU’s Thor and Valkyrie! Enter 2019’s Men In Black: International starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson; an aggressively “fine” reboot that does very little with its characters, story concepts, or spy thriller conceit.

Hoping on the back of a rocket bike to chat with Nick and Scott about what this reboot could have done differently is writer and fellow podcaster Cass Fredrickson (Geek By Night, The Doctor’s Companion).
