Our MEN IN BLACK mini-series continues with the even longer-awaited third entry in the blockbuster franchise, 2012’s Men in Black 3.

Released 15 years after the original, and opening just three weeks after the release of The Avengers, MIB3 found itself in a very different cinema landscape than its two predecessors. Added to that, the very public production postponement due to script issues thanks to reports from film blogs such as Bleeding Cool, /Film, and Ain’t It Cool News, the film was met with mostly apathy by moviegoers. But you know what? Between the time travel plot, Josh Brolin’s pitch-perfect young Kay, and fantastic character performances from Jermaine Clement and Michael Stuhlbarg, Men in Black 3 actually pretty great and we think it deserves another look.

Time-jumping with Nick and Scott to discuss the endless possibilities behind Men in Black 3’s lackluster success is screenwriter, podcaster, and hypothetical movie remaker Sam Gasch (Ideal Remake).
