This week on Franchise Today begins the ENCORE PERFORMANCE of the Second Annual Franchise Legal Series. The series was expanded to seven segments for 2011, up fom four segments last year.

The series began with Franchise Attorney, Lane Fisher, joining Franchise Today host, Paul Segreto, to discuss Financial Performance Representations, or as they are more commonly kown throughout franchising, FPRs.

A guest on last years Franchise Legal Series on Franchise Today, Lane Fisher is a Partner at FisherZucker LLC and is extremely active within the International Franchise Association. Focusing on FPRs, Lane and Paul discussed non-traditionl FPRs, fear of including FPRs in FDDs, and FPR misconceptions by franchisors and attorneys alike.

In addition, Lane and Paul touched upon the recent International Franchise Expo and the IFA-hosted Small Business Lending Summit.
