1. Trust God in all circumstances...especially when things get difficult.
2. Faith working through love (cf. 5:6). We strive constantly to "show forth" the love of God in our words and actions....we sacramentalize our faith...make present the love of God through signs, words, and actions that people are important and that God loves them.
3. Discernment is hard and the fear of not seeing God in the midst of suffering often cripples us (self-love, lack of sacrifice, trying to "fix" things rather than accept and love through them.)
