This week on Sustainability Now!, your host, Justin Mog, gets you pumped to plant some trees in 2022 with two of the staff members from TreesLouisville (http://treeslouisville.org), Operations Manager, Charlotte Jones, and Volunteer & Program Manager, Morgan Grubbs. Charlotte Jones moved to Louisville from Seattle in 2015 and became involved with TreesLouisville as a volunteer before joining the team full-time in January 2017. She holds her Certified Arborist credential from the International Society of Arboriculture and earned her degree in Geography from the University of Delaware in 2010. Charlotte is passionate about helping to creating a healthier, greener, and more sustainable city that benefits all of Louisville’s citizens, and believes caring for our trees is an integral part of that mission! Contact Charlotte at [email protected].

Morgan Grubbs grew up in Goshen, just outside of Louisville, which is where she believes her love of nature and being outdoors began. She has a B.S. in Environmental Management from Indiana University Bloomington and has spent the majority of her career in environmental education and program development. Morgan’s adventurous and outgoing spirit can be seen through her 5 years of living abroad developing youth engagement programs and participating in outdoor excursions. She feels very passionate about trees and hopes that through education and hard work we can create a more sustainable future for our communities. Contact Morgan at [email protected].
