Brian Clardy received his Ph.D. in history from the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1999. Dr. Clardy Now teaches in the department of history at Murray State University. He is the author of two books, Radical Ideas: homilies and Reflections and A Testament of Grace: Sermons and Reflections. Brian Clardy has published numerous articles including “Impeaching Richard Nixon: Tennessee Congressman Ed Jones, Watergate, and the Political of Triangulation, 1973-1974” and “A Fear and Loathing of Détente: Perspectives on Criticism of Henry Kissinger in ‘The new Republic’ and “The national Review” and “Deconstructing a Theology of Defiance: Black Preaching the Politics of Racial Identity” published in The Journal of Church and State.
