Episode 12 features my interview with Coach Rick Courtright, veteran coach with over 30 years of experience ranging from High School to the NFL. Starting as a youngster in Miami Florida, Rick developed a love for the game early on. A strong career at Miami Christian led him to play at (D-III) Wheaton College in Illinois. He later made the decision to get into coaching and was fortunate to work for some great mentors!

He coached for Don James at the University of Washington, where he was part of two Pac-10 Championship staffs, two Rose Bowls and the 1991 National Championship. Coach Courtright had the distinction of being appointed by legendary Baylor Coach Grant Teaff to the inaugural Foundation Committee of the AFCA.

During his distinguished career, Rick has coached collegiately at multiple levels and schools, which ultimately led him to the Arizona Cardinals staff from 2004 to 2010. At Arizona, Rick coached under both Denny Green and Ken Whisenhunt and was the Asst Defensive Backs coach for the 2008 NFC West Championship team that went to Super Bowl 43. He has coached such notable Pro Bowlers as Adrian Wilson, Antrel Rolle, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Bertrand Berry.
