Competition is full of strong emotions, and knowing how to deal with them - and how not to dread them will help your athlete tremendously in competition. Dealing with performance anxiety, overcoming fears and nerves, and being mentally tough is all about learning how to not just stuff aside emotion, but how to process and deal with them.
