To become complacent leads to an unexpected state of danger. Complacency is a feeling of smug or uncritical satisfaction with oneself or one's achievements. Jeff starts the show with a simple and innocent story of becoming complacent and how it led to a teaching lesson. Dave then talks about fatigue and how it can be a dangerous cause leading to complacency. Jeff also shares the story of a student almost costing both of their lives due to his complacency.
