“What happens if I stop intermittent fasting and start eating gluten again?” That’s a scary question I asked myself while overcoming years of fad-diets and fitness myths.  I used to scoff at people who ate carbs for breakfast instead of drinking BCAAs and doing fasted cardio. Before studying real research and becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, I was preaching the gospel of alternative health.

“Skip breakfast. Avoid carbs. Drink butter coffee. Go against the scientific consensus.” It’s punk rock for health fanatics. Meanwhile, most of my friends were perfectly healthy, and my morning routine was taking way too long... plus I was getting hangry! (Could’ve used a Snickers. Tehehe.)

On today’s #Unscripted episode of the podcast, I share a bit of my story. Specifically, how I came to terms with some simple truths about fitness. This journey can be simple. It won’t be easy, but at least let it be simple. Here's how.
