Advantageous was one of Allyson's favorite films of 2015. Chilling, evocative and shockingly timely about it's discussion of gender roles and motherhood, director Jennifer Phang created a beautiful and haunting film that will stick in the back of your head long after seeing. Still on Netflix and 100% worth the watch, Allyson, Gaby and Alana talk about it's themes, why it related to them as women and why the low-fi effects ended up adding to its overall appeal.
