In this episode of finding grace I’m joined by brilliant and kind Dr David Hamilton PHD, author of 11 books around the field of kindness including ‘The five side effects of kindness’ and ‘How your mind can heal your body’, David is a scientist and researcher and uses this as the basis behind his work, he has been featured in the award winning documentary "Heal", and is an advocate for kindness and is working passionately to help inspire a kinder world. 

His latest book “why woo woo works” has recently just been released.

David and I meet through various Hay house events and I absolutely love his work and message. 

Let’s face it the world we live in today we need all the kindness we can get.

David shares what finding grace means to him right now and where he’s at.  He shares a recap of his story what led him to this work. We dive in deep about his new book what it’s about about, what led him to write it and his personal experiences in relationship to the book.  He talk about his “woo woo” experiences and how it’s helped him and changed his life. We discuss his passion in using science to explain the more woo stuff and how this helps people understand things more. He shares about how often it’s a case of bridging the gap better the woo world and the science world and how sometimes that by doing this we can get what we actually need. Often we need to go further to one side at certain times and the importance of this. Its a case of finding the balance to whats working for you at a particular time. We discuss why there’s often a resistance to woo and why this is, and what’s changing here. He shares about the connection between the mind and the body, the science behind it and the power in connecting to this.  We discuss the tools that he’s using to support him in his life right now. He shares why getting out in nature is so supportive to us. We talk about kindness (of course) and why he’s passionate about this. He shares his own vulnerabilities about writing this book.
