We often start projects or take on responsibilities not fully realizing the extent of the energy and time required to complete the tasks.  And this is often true as we enter the role of caring for aging parents or disabled spouses. When you are assuming the role of caregiver, you must do so with a plan.  You must also do your homework, learn many new things, have a good support team and  many adjustments along the way.  Please know that you will make mistakes and learn from them.  So cut yourself some slack and keep moving forward, one step at a time.
